The role
- Temporary Clinic Administrative Officer (Medical Receptionist) to support Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic
- Backfill for planned leave from 13 July through to 9 October , with staggered dates and some flexibility required
- Front of house role supporting student practitioners, academics and community clients across all age groups
- First point of contact for enquiries, bookings, and client arrivals.
- Manage appointments and patient flow across Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Nutrition & Dietetics services.
- Support a wide range of stakeholders, including students, academic staff, clients, external partners, and other University colleagues.
- Coordinate and complete client intake processes, questionnaires, and related administrative requirements.
- Process payments through online systems (no Medicare billing).
- Maintain accurate records and ensure strict confidentiality and privacy compliance.
- Deliver a professional, responsive, and welcoming experience to a diverse client population.
- Provide administrative support to student-led clinics, contributing to the smooth operation of clinical teaching and service delivery activities.
- Proven experience in an allied health or medical reception setting (essential)
- Experience with Zanda or a similar practice management system (desirable)
- Confident managing a busy front desk and competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills with a calm, approachable and friendly manner
- High attention to detail and accuracy across admin tasks
- Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team
- 3 days per week, with 4 days during peak leave coverage (w/c 28 July)
- Clinic hours between 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday-Friday
- Onsite parking and close to public transport
