About the Role
South Eastern Community Connect (SECC) is committed to fostering community wellbeing. For the past 46 years we have aimed to reduce social isolation through innovative, engaging in person and online programs. We promote wellbeing via quality services and programs for families, seniors, young people and the wider community. We remind people they are never alone. We are together in community.
As Chief Executive Officer you will take a proactive approach to working in partnership with the board to set a strategic plan that responds to our current services and opportunities to ensure a sustainable future and provide strengths based leadership to the team.
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership experience in the community or not-for-profit sector with the ability to lead a passionate team with integrity and vision
- Experience in operational program planning and implementation
- Sound financial management skills, including budgeting and grant applications
- Experience working with government funding bodies and community networks
- Experience with governance, compliance, risk and regulatory frameworks
- Understanding of community aged care and current reforms
- A commitment to social justice, equity and community development
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Full Australian Driver's Licence
Work Model, Location and Remuneration
Competitive remuneration including base salary, superannuation and salary packaging.
This role offers the opportunity to work from home one day a week.
Head office is located in Eastlakes, Sydney.
