Beaumont People are excited to partner with a local council in the Northern Rivers region, seeking a Change Manager or experienced Systems Project Manager to lead system rollouts and change management following a major digital transformation.
As the Change Manager, you’ll be responsible for executing comprehensive change strategies and system training plans across the council's digital transformation project. Your work will ensure successful adoption by employees through effective communication, stakeholder engagement, training delivery, and resistance management.

- 6 Month Temporary Assignment,
- Full time or Part time, minimum 3 days per week.
- Based in Lismore 2 days per week, flexibility to work from home others.
As the Change Manager, you’ll be responsible for executing comprehensive change strategies and system training plans across the council's digital transformation project. Your work will ensure successful adoption by employees through effective communication, stakeholder engagement, training delivery, and resistance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver end-to-end change management strategies across the council’s digital transformation, including change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement plans, communications, business readiness assessments, and adoption monitoring.
- Design and implement comprehensive training programs for new systems and technologies to support staff learning and capability uplift.
- Provide expert implementation advice to business and project leaders on all aspects of change delivery.
- Identify the needs and expectations of various stakeholder groups in conjunction with business owners, subject matter experts, and project managers.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to gain buy-in, clarify roles and responsibilities, and drive ownership of key change activities.
- Proactively identify, escalate, and manage change-related risks and issues that could affect program success.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement by incorporating feedback from training sessions and stakeholder engagement.
- Champion the adoption of new technologies and processes by developing innovative, practical solutions to change resistance and performance gaps.
- Demonstrated experience in managing change within digital transformation projects.
- Proven ability to design and deliver system training programs in a large, complex organisation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience working across various business units.
- Experience working within Agile project environments and an understanding of Agile principles and ceremonies.
- High-level problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
