Role Description
This role manages the CWH housing waitlist and coordinates the end-to-end allocation of properties in line with CWH policies and procedures, the Affordable Housing Guidelines, and the Residential Tenancies Act.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing eligibility assessments
- Calculating rent in accordance with relevant guidelines
- Conducting condition reports
- Coordinating tenancy sign-ups
- Overseeing vacancies and exit processes
- Managing complaints related to allocations
The Ideal Applicant
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will ideally have:
- Experience within Community Housing, ideally in an Allocations role, or experience within the Real Estate or Housing sector.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence for mutually positive outcomes.
- Experience executing projects including research, delivery and evaluation.
- Ability to manage competing demands and rapidly adjust to unexpected events.
- Excellent writing skills with high attention to detail.
- Availability to start immediately.
