We are seeking a temporary candidate to join a member-based not-for-profit organisation, providing vital administrative support while the organisation recruits for this position permanently. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, this role will provide high-level administrative assistance to executive staff members, manage general office administration, and cover reception and phone duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to three Heads of Department (Legal Services; Workplace & Human Relations; Policy, Funding & Compliance)
  • Prepare and manage documentation, correspondence, and meeting materials
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate professional learning events
  • Handle enquiries professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Assist with document control, filing, and records management systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility
  • Perform child protection administration duties including managing notifications, maintaining confidential records, and liaising with relevant bodies
  • Work collaboratively with other administrative staff to ensure seamless office operations
  
To Be Successful, You Will Ideally Have:
  • A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) is essential for this role
  • Proven experience in administrative or office support roles, strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Professional discretion and the ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general ICT systems
  • Experience within legal, industrial relations, or education environments will be highly regarded
