The Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientists (AIMS) is the peak professional body representing medical and clinical scientists in all disciplines of medical laboratory science working throughout Australia. AIMS focus is on providing advocacy, events, professional development, continuing education, and opportunities for research and innovation for its members.
About the Role
The Administration Officer will play a vital role in keeping the office running smoothly. Working closely with the CEO and wider team, you’ll provide general administrative support, assist members, and help ensure dayโtoโday operations flow seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support, managing incoming phone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate office administration including mail, supplies, and general office upkeep.
- Support smooth dayโtoโday operations by prioritising tasks and maintaining tidy shared spaces.
- Respond to customer and member enquiries and follow up with lapsed or pending applicants for outstanding information.
- Maintain accurate member records and application statuses in the CRM, including issuing fee notifications and following up payments.
- Support the skills and qualifications and membership assessment teams by collating documentation, schedules, and result notifications.

- Experience within a membershipโbased organisation is highly desirable.
