About the role

We’re seeking a highly organised, tech-savvy, and proactive candidate to join this respected medical association. In this dynamic role, you’ll support the accreditation of training sites, assessment and placement of international medical graduates (IMGs), and administration of government-funded programs. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, committees, and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of training and accreditation activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Specialist Training Program (STP) with reporting, contract management, and budget tracking.
  • Provide high-level administrative and project support to senior management.
  • Organise committee meetings (occasional after-hours or Saturdays), prepare minutes, and manage follow-up actions.
  • Maintain accurate program data and documentation across internal systems.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and members to support program outcomes.
About you
  • Experienced administrator with exceptional organisational skills and a proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to handle sensitive information with accuracy and discretion.
  • Confident using IT systems and platforms (CRMs, Zoom, Teams, online portals).
  • Initiative and problem-solving mindset - ready to jump in and find solutions.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and Saturdays (time in lieu provided).
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a small, supportive team.
  • Experience with committee coordination and professional membership or medical college highly desirable.
Why you’ll love it
  • Opportunity to grow in a diverse and highly rewarding role, making a genuine impact supporting international doctors and specialist training.
  • Collaborative, supportive culture within a purpose-driven organisation.
  • Hybrid work environment with flexibility to work from home.
  • Access to professional development opportunities and additional benefits.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and motivated administrator to grow and develop within a passionate, supportive team dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the health sector. If you are interested, please apply now!
