Better Boards Conference 2025 - Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
- Eligibility
This prize draw is open to delegates attending the Better Boards Conference 2025 who are residents of Australia and are currently employed in a leadership or governance role within a not-for-profit organisation or board.
2. Giveaway Duration
The prize draw opens at 8:30 AM AEST on 25 July 2025 and closes at 4:00 PM 26 July 2025 during the Better Boards Conference 2025.
3. Entry Method
To enter, participants must provide their full name, job title, organisation, mobile number and email address to Beaumont People during the conference.
Entries may be submitted by:
- Completing an official entry card, or
- Providing a business card with the required details.
Entry is free and limited to one entry per person.
4. Winner Selection
The winner will be drawn at random from the submissions. This is a game of chance; skill plays no part in determining the outcome.
5. Announcement of Recipient
The winner will be drawn on Monday 28 July 2025 and notified by phone and/or email no later than Monday 4 August 2025.
6. Prize Claim Process
Beaumont People will contact the winner directly using the contact information provided upon entry. The winner must respond within 14 days to claim their prize.
If the prize is not claimed within this period, Beaumont People reserves the right to redraw or withdraw the prize at its discretion.
7. Prize Options
The winner will choose one of the following:
- A place in the LEAD Professional Development and Mentoring Program (valued at up to $1,250), covering six-month program enrolment;
OR - A Leadership Assessment & Debrief session, valued at $1,250.
The prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
8. Publicity
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow Beaumont People to use their name, organisation, and photo (if supplied) for promotional purposes.
9. Privacy
All personal information collected will be handled in accordance with Beaumont People’s [Privacy Policy](insert link), and used solely for the administration of the prize draw.
10. Disqualification
Beaumont People reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions, or that is incomplete or misleading.
11. Changes to Terms
Beaumont People may modify, suspend or cancel the prize draw or these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice, subject to applicable laws.
12. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of both Queensland (entry location) and New South Wales (draw location) and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in those states, as applicable.
