Join a passionate fundraising team and make your mark on a new program that will help provide sustainable support for children with cancer and their families.

As Australia’s only national charity focused on the psychosocial needs of children with cancer and their families, Redkite provides practical, financial and emotional support throughout the cancer experience. Its services include counselling, music therapy, financial assistance, education, information and support for families navigating childhood cancer.

Redkite has recently launched an outsourced face-to-face regular giving program, and it is already tracking ahead of its ambitious first-year growth targets. This is an exciting opportunity to join at the beginning of the journey, take ownership of the program’s day-to-day coordination and help shape how regular donors are welcomed, engaged and retained over the long term.

As Regular Giving Coordinator, you will coordinate the face-to-face acquisition program, working closely with specialist agency partners, internal fundraising and database colleagues, and outsourced supporter relations providers. You will monitor performance, maintain high standards of donor care and ensure data moves accurately between suppliers and Redkite’s CRM.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days will look exactly the same. You might be reviewing acquisition and attrition metrics, resolving a donor enquiry, reconciling agency invoices, improving an internal process, developing regular giving content or helping agency fundraisers understand Redkite’s purpose and impact.

In this key role, you will:
  • Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the face-to-face regular giving acquisition program
  • Build effective relationships with external fundraising and supporter relations agencies
  • Review existing reports, identify performance trends and recommend improvements
  • Ensure donor information is accurately transferred between agency partners, supporter relations providers and Redkite’s CRM
  • Support contract compliance, quality assurance and high standards of fundraiser conduct
  • Coordinate invoice reconciliation, clawbacks, cancellations and other program administration
  • Respond to regular giving enquiries and ensure donors receive a timely, positive experience
  • Develop and improve processes, policies, donor journeys and program documentation
  • Help bring regular giving to life across Redkite’s website, communications and fundraising collateral
  • Support the development of acquisition, welcome, retention, upgrade, reactivation and loyalty activity
  • Deliver training to face-to-face fundraising teams, either online or occasionally in person
The position supports donor acquisition and stewardship across face-to-face, digital, direct mail and telemarketing channels, while using data-driven insights to strengthen retention and return on investment.

About You

You understand how face-to-face regular giving programs work and are confident interpreting the core metrics that indicate whether a program is performing successfully.

You may already be coordinating a regular giving program, or you could be working in supporter care, donor services, individual giving or fundraising operations and be ready to take greater ownership. You enjoy working with data, systems and processes, but you never lose sight of the supporter experience behind the numbers.

You do not need extensive experience managing external agencies, as you will be well supported in agency meetings. However, you will bring the confidence to build strong supplier relationships, ask the right questions and ensure agreed standards and contractual expectations are upheld.

Most importantly, you are proactive, adaptable and motivated by the opportunity to build something. You can see where a process, communication or donor journey could be stronger and are willing to take the initiative to improve it.

You will bring:
  • Experience working internally within a charity or not-for-profit fundraising environment
  • An understanding of face-to-face fundraising programs and their key performance metrics
  • Experience supporting or working with a regular giving program, donor care function or supporter relations team
  • Confidence working with donor data, reports and fundraising systems
  • CRM experience, with Salesforce highly regarded
  • The ability to interpret existing reports and identify trends across acquisition, attrition, retention and donor value
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
  • The confidence to work with agencies and suppliers while maintaining clear expectations
  • Excellent attention to detail and a practical understanding of data quality
  • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage an unpredictable and varied workload
  • A genuine commitment to delivering respectful and positive donor experiences
Why you’ll love working at Redkite:
  • Coordinate the newly launched program with considerable scope for growth and improvement
  • Join at an exciting early stage, with strong results already being achieved
  • Work alongside experienced agency partners and knowledgeable internal fundraising specialists
  • Contribute to sustainable income that helps children with cancer and their families access vital support
  • Hybrid working with three days in the Surry Hills office and two days from home
  • Melbourne-based candidates may also be considered
  • Full-time opportunity, with four days considered for a highly organised and experienced candidate[RM1]
Bring your regular giving knowledge, confidence with data and commitment to donor care to a role where you can genuinely shape the future of the program.
