We're a certified B Corporation™

We're excited to share that Beaumont People is now a Certified B Corporation™

It's a certification that means a lot to us, and one that reflects who we've always strived to be: a business that measures success by more than the bottom line.

Since 2001, when Beaumont People was founded, our purpose has been to enrich lives and livelihoods, helping organisations build strong teams, supporting people into meaningful work, and investing in the sectors and communities we serve.

Certification doesn't change that purpose. It's independent proof of it, and it gives us a framework for continuing to improve.

What is B Corp?

B Corp certification recognises businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. It looks beyond what a business says it stands for and examines how those commitments are reflected in the way it operates.

Certification involves a comprehensive assessment of a company’s impact across five key areas:

Governance - How we are governed and held accountable.

Workers How we support our people, including wellbeing, inclusion and development.

Community - How we contribute to the communities and sectors around us.

Environment - How we understand and manage our environmental impact.

Customers -  How we create value and act responsibly for the people we serve.

For Beaumont People, these areas align closely with the values and practices that have long guided our business.

Our B Corp journey

Twenty five years ago, I started Beaumont People with one clear picture in my head: not just a business that turned a profit, but one that used its influence to do genuine good.  It started with our own people, a team that felt both valued and looked after. From there, that same care would extend outwards, to the people we place, the clients we serve, and the sectors we work in. I'm proud to share that Beaumont People is now a Certified B Corporation™.

Getting here wasn't easy. We were independently assessed with every single response backed by evidence, not promises. It was thorough. At times it was genuinely confronting. But it made us better, sharper governance, clearer accountability, and a real framework for measuring the impact

we have.

I'm proud to join a global community of businesses proving business can be a force for good.
And I could not be more excited about what's ahead.

What B Corp certification means to us

More intentional

We're more deliberate about how our purpose shapes our decisions and actions, not just what we do, but why and how we do it.

More accountable

We've strengthened the systems, policies and responsibilities that sit behind our commitments, so they hold up to scrutiny.

More measurable

We're building better ways to track, measure and show our impact.

Always improving

B Corp gives us a framework to keep learning, listening and doing better. Certification isn't the end point, it's a way of holding ourselves to it.

The process pushed us to look honestly at how we operate. It confirmed what we already did well, and showed us clearly where we can do better.

The journey continues

Becoming a Certified B Corporation is an important milestone for Beaumont People. But the real opportunity lies in what comes next.

The certification process pushed us to look closely at how we operate, the impact we have, and where we can improve. It gave us a framework for measuring what matters, listening more intentionally to our stakeholders, and holding ourselves accountable to higher standards.

B Corp is built around continuous improvement. For us, that means strengthening our practices, building on what we've learned, and looking for new opportunities to create value for our people, clients, candidates, communities and the environment.

This certification is a milestone, but it's just the beginning.
