The Head of Finance will lead the organisation's finance function and oversee a small, capable team. This is a broad leadership role encompassing financial stewardship, governance, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement.

You will play a key role in supporting the ongoing evolution of the finance function, with opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen financial controls, refine reporting frameworks and further develop team capability. • Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance frameworks are maintained.
  • Manage external audits and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Support executive leadership with financial analysis and commercial insights.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to support planning and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
  • Prepare Board and Executive reporting packs and financial presentations.
Why you’ll love it?
  • Join a highly regarded membership organisation with a strong reputation, engaged workforce and clear growth trajectory.
  • Lead and further strengthen the finance function, with the autonomy to influence processes, drive improvements and add genuine value across the organisation.
  • Be part of a high-performing, collaborative culture where people are trusted, ideas are welcomed, and teams work together to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Enjoy a friendly, down-to-earth environment with a strong sense of camaraderie, a member-first mindset, and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Benefit from a flexible hybrid working model (three days in the office, two from home), a competitive salary package, bonus scheme and dedicated professional development budget.
  • Opportunity to be involved at Board level, including Board reporting and presenting insights.
About You

You are a seasoned finance professional who combines strong technical capability with practical leadership skills. You enjoy creating structure, improving processes and helping teams perform at their best.

To be successful, you will bring:
  • Qualifications in Finance or Accounting, with CA or CPA qualification highly regarded.
  • Strong expertise in financial control, governance, compliance and reporting.
  • Proven ability to review systems and processes, drive improvements, and strengthen financial controls.
