Katie Badman
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Katie’s key passion is supporting people; building relationships, and listening deeply to the needs of both organisations and job‑seekers.
With 6 years working within Higher Education and 7 years’ experience as a fundraiser in Not‑For‑Profits, Katie brings a genuine understanding of how education environments operate and what makes them thrive. She loves nothing more than helping new talent find their place in this sector, combining her firsthand experience with her passion for the work universities and schools do every day.
Katie recruits for all temporary and contract roles across the full breadth of education, with a focus on universities and schools. She supports HR, finance, student services, admissions, placements and development and advancement teams with the adaptable, capable professionals they need to keep things running seamlessly.
She also manages all temporary
and permanent recruitment for advancement, development and philanthropic roles, drawing on her own experience as a fundraiser to provide deep insight into the needs, structures and expectations of modern advancement teams.

Outside of work, Katie can be found in Sydney’s inner‑west, doing her best to eat at every café and restaurant she can find.
