The Role
As a Software Developer, you'll work within an agile development team to design, build and maintain scalable, secure and high-quality software solutions. You'll collaborate closely with product, QA, support and engineering teams while leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain software features and applications
- Build scalable, secure and maintainable code
- Develop and support APIs and integrations
- Investigate and resolve production issues, bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Participate in code reviews, testing and CI/CD processes
- Work effectively within established codebases and large production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Utilise AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot and similar platforms responsibly and effectively
- Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Commercial experience as a Software Developer within a professional development team
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms and relational databases
- Experience with object-oriented programming and modern web frameworks
- Solid SQL skills, ideally including PostgreSQL
- Experience building and supporting secure, scalable applications and REST APIs
- Strong understanding of Git, automated testing, code reviews and CI/CD practices
- Experience with cloud-hosted applications and containerisation technologies such as AWS and Docker
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or similar
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- The ability to quickly learn new technologies, frameworks and domains
