Help shape and measure the impact of nationally significant community programs within a leading Research & Policy team .
  
Royal Life Saving Australia is Australia's peak drowning prevention organisation, working with communities, governments and partners to improve water safety and reduce drowning across the country.
  
As part of a high-performing Research & Policy team, you will help measure and demonstrate the impact of nationally significant community programs, translating insights into actions that strengthen outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
  
What you'll be doing
  • Lead monitoring, evaluation and learning activities across community and water safety programs.
  • Design and implement practical evaluation frameworks, tools and reporting systems.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to measure outcomes and program impact.
  • Prepare reports, case studies and impact stories for stakeholders and funders.
  • Work closely with program teams, community partners and funded organisations.
  • Turn evidence and evaluation findings into practical recommendations and program improvements.
   
What you'll bring
  • Experience in program evaluation, impact measurement, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) or MEL.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research and data analysis skills.
  • Experience developing evaluation frameworks, reporting tools and performance measures.
  • Ability to translate complex findings into clear, practical insights and recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience working across multiple teams.
  • Experience in community, not-for-profit, public health, social impact, grants or government environments.
