- Providing technical accounting advice and guidance on Australian Accounting Standards
- Maintaining accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Developing cash flow forecasts and financial reporting insights
- Supporting finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contributing to the organisation's transition from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Workday
You are a technically capable finance professional who can quickly integrate into a team, take ownership of responsibilities and work effectively in a changing environment.
We're looking for:

- Extensive financial accounting experience within medium to large organisations
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including Australian Accounting Standards and financial reporting requirements

- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) will be highly regarded
- Experience in either not-for-profit or commercial environments will be considered
- Opportunity to play a key role during a major ERP implementation
- Supportive and collaborative finance team with strong internal knowledge
- Hybrid working arrangement
- Paramatta location with two office days per week, or Newcastle-based applicants encouraged to apply
- Potential occasional travel to Newcastle
- Immediate opportunity to contribute and add value
