A dynamic purpose led environmental organisation is seeking an Operations Coordinator for a 3-4 month contract.

Working closely with the CEO, this is a varied role that combines operations, finance, people support and governance. You'll be the person who makes sure the details are covered, systems are maintained, and the team has what it needs to succeed.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting Board processes, including preparation of papers, meeting coordination and action tracking.
  • Working closely with the Board Secretary to ensure effective governance administration.
  • Maintaining and streamlining internal systems, documentation, planning and reporting processes (Including HR systems, contracts and employee records)
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational policies, procedures and data management practices.
  • HR duties such as coordinating onboarding for new team members and performance management processes, including KPI tracking and review cycles.
  • Supporting with finance duties such as budgeting, financial tracking and reporting activities.
  • Supporting with payroll administration (Payroll outsourced), accounts payable and expense management processes.
  • Providing additional administration and operational support to the team such as answering/triaging enquiries, coordinating team events and supporting with campaigns.
To apply for the role, you will need:
  • Experience in operations, coordination, senior administration (EA or PA) or organisational management.
  • Experience supporting at Board and Executive level.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Financial literacy, including budgeting, tracking and reporting.
  • Knowledge of HR administration and onboarding processes.
  • To be a proactive and organised professional with excellent attention to detail and who enjoys making things happen.
