About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Marketing Coordinator to join a purpose-driven organisation supporting rural Australia. This is a true all-rounder role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple marketing disciplines and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-led environment.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day marketing activities across campaigns, appeals and communications. This role is critical in ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across social media, content creation, email marketing and CRM.

Key responsibilities

Social Media & Community Management
  • Manage content calendars and publish across all social channels
  • Write engaging captions aligned to brand messaging
  • Monitor and respond to community engagement (comments, messages)
  • Track and report on performance metrics
Content Creation & Design
  • Create and adapt content for social, email and marketing collateral
  • Design assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Produce and edit short-form video content
  • Maintain content libraries and brand consistency
Email Marketing & Campaigns
  • Build, test and schedule EDMs, newsletters and fundraising appeals
  • Support donor communications using established messaging frameworks
  • Manage segmentation, list hygiene and compliance
  • Analyse and report on email performance
CRM & Data Management
  • Maintain and update CRM with campaign and donor data
  • Generate reports to support fundraising insights
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity
Marketing Coordination
  • Support campaign execution, scheduling and workflow management
  • Coordinate with external partners and agencies when required
  • Assist with documenting marketing processes and systems
About you You are a proactive and organised marketing professional who enjoys being across everything from content creation to campaign delivery. You are comfortable managing competing priorities and can work independently while maintaining attention to detail.
You will bring:
  • 2–4 years’ experience in a marketing, communications or related role
  • Strong writing skills across social, email and collateral
  • Experience managing social media channels and communities
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms
  • Experience using CRM systems or customer databases
  • Proficiency in Canva (Adobe Suite desirable)
  • Basic video editing skills (e.g. CapCut or similar)
Desirable:
  • Experience in not-for-profit or fundraising environments
  • Understanding of donor journeys and campaign-driven communications
  • Connection to or understanding of rural and regional communities
