This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is confident managing the full finance function across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll . You'll work as part of a small team, taking ownership of day-to-day transactional finance activities while supporting month-end processes and reporting.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
- End-to-end Accounts Payable processing, supplier payments and reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable invoicing, debtor management and collections
- Fortnightly payroll processing, employee record maintenance and payroll compliance
- Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow support
- General ledger reconciliations and journal entries
- Assisting with BAS preparation and month-end reporting
- Supporting audit, budgeting and finance projects as required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience across AP, AR and payroll
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, STP and superannuation obligations
- Experience using accounting and payroll systems
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to support a small finance team
- Availability to work 3 days per week on an ongoing temporary basis
