We're partnering with a well-known not-for-profit organisation undergoing a significant operational improvement program across its retail and logistics network. This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst with strong process improvement, operational analysis, or continuous improvement experience to help optimise distribution centre performance and drive measurable business outcomes.
The Opportunity
Working closely with operational leaders and project stakeholders, you will analyse current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, facilitate workshops, map workflows, and support implementation of initiatives designed to improve efficiency, productivity and throughput across distribution centre operations.
This is an ideal role for someone with experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, supply chain, operational excellence, or process improvement environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Map and document current operational processes across distribution centres.
- Conduct process analysis and time-and-motion studies to establish productivity baselines.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and requirements-gathering sessions.
- Develop process maps, business requirements and improvement recommendations.
- Analyse operational data and performance metrics to support decision-making.
- Support pilot programs and measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
- Prepare reports, documentation and project updates for key stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively across operations, logistics and project teams to deliver successful outcomes.
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Continuous Improvement Analyst, Operations Analyst or similar.
- Strong process mapping and documentation skills.
- Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with operational stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exposure to Lean, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence or similar methodologies.
- Confidence analysing data and translating findings into practical recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with experience using Visio, Miro or similar process mapping tools highly regarded.
- Experience within warehousing, distribution centres, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain or fulfilment operations.
- Time-and-motion study or productivity analysis experience.
- Experience supporting operational transformation or business improvement initiatives.
