Course Coordinator – Master of Social Work 
  
Beaumont People have partnered with UP Education, an education provider who is a prominent multi-sector education group providing Vocational Education & Training, Higher Education, University Partnerships and Online Education throughout Australasia.  We are supporting them to recruit a Course Coordinator - Master of Social Work to join their partner Acknowledge Education.

The Course Coordinator for the Master of Social Work plays a vital role in connecting academic and administrative functions, working closely with the Head of Department on key issues, especially those related to risk management. This role involves overseeing daily operations, including timetabling, resource planning, assessments, and student progress, while ensuring alignment and clear communication across all stakeholders. The Course Coordinator also contributes to report preparation for the Academic Board and sub-committees, develops new courses, supports Course Advisory Committees, leads staff professional development, and contributes to academic policy development. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for workplace health and safety and teaching within the course to foster a supportive learning environment.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic and operational leadership by managing course operations, including timetabling, resources, and assessments.
  • Assist with course development, support Advisory Committees, and contribute to research and policy evaluations.
  • Lead staff professional development initiatives while monitoring student progress, performance, and satisfaction.
  
Skills & Attributes
  • Hold a PhD in Community Services, Social Work, Community Welfare, Human Services, or a related field, along with a relevant industry experience.
  • Exhibit leadership skills with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Skilled in data entry, database management and online learning platforms with strong report-writing capabilities.
  • Capable of prioritising and managing multiple tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
