Job Description

A disability charity in the Eastern Suburbs have a brand new opportunity for a temporary NDIS Support Co-coordinator to join their team on either a part-time or full-time basis for a minimum 2 month contract. 

The core responsibilities will include;
  • Supporting the Care Manager in the co-ordination and delivery of support options to clients, parents and carers (existing clients, new clients, and referrals for support)
  • Assisting in the delivery of support co-ordination to participants and families.
  • Establishing processes and documented procedures to progress the implementation and integration of the NDIS in to the culture (assist in floor staff training and development)
  • Participant and family liaison (face to face and phone)
  • All things NDIS to assist the organisation in the transition of current people plus new entrants
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the NDIS pricing structure and community supports available to assist participants in the implementation of their plans.
The successful candidate will have;
  • Sound knowledge of disability sector and NDIS (Essential)
  • Good networking capability and experience 
  • Project and process focussed
  • Effective time management and problem solving
  • Strong empathy and understanding of client needs and person centered support
