Job Description

A wonderful Christian charity is looking for an Event Officer/Manager to help organise a variety of events over the next 3-6 months. The organisation culture is friendly, supportive and collaborative and is based in the CBD. 

You will be responsible for:
  • End to end development & execution of the events & sponsorship strategy
  • Budget management & post event analysis
  • Manage relationships & offer guidance to individual community donors
  • Manage all volunteer recruitment & engagement
  • Identify innovative opportunities for increasing community activity
  • Represent the charity by playing an active and visible role with churches
  • Implement effective systems for managing events & sponsorships

  • Events Management and be able to pick things up quickly and hit the ground running
  • Desire to work within the Christian ethos
  • Confident working under pressure
  • Outstanding communication & presentation skills both written & verbal
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Experience in managing budgets, project expenditure & delivering organisational outcomes
  • Confidence leading and mentoring staff members and volunteers
  • Programmatic, with strong project management skills
  • Self- motivated and enthusiastic
