We are looking for a qualified and experienced Counsellor who is interested in building a team of qualified digital counsellors to support carers.
CARERS are unpaid individuals providing care to friends or family members who are frail, who are living with a disability, cognitive impairment, or mental health issues. The role will require leadership and mentoring of clinical staff around best practice and crisis and emergency events.
The Counselling Team Lead will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of a small and growing carer counselling team. The team provides evidenced-based short-term counselling for carers who are stressed and experiencing low mood.
The successful candidate must be a qualified Counsellor and must be eligible for the Australian Counselling Association Level 2 Membership. You will ideally have experience leading a team, be a natural leader and have a keen interest in supporting carers and the growing success of the Digital Counselling Service for our deserving carers.
If you are a Counsellor and would like to explore opportunities in this team, please enquire and apply.
