Senior Fundraiser – Full or Part Time

The Senior Fundraiser will be responsible for coordinating and implementing Justice Connect’s strategic fundraising program.

Role Summary

This is a standalone fundraising role and you must be comfortable carrying out all basic administration and operational tasks alongside the strategic work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a fundraising strategy
  • Grow existing and develop new income across a number of streams
  • Coordinate the cultivation of relationships with, and lead management of current and future donors and funders, including major donors, regular giving donors, and ‘Justice Champions’
  • Cultivate new and existing relationships
  • Develop and implement a donor stewardship plan
  • Plan and deliver events
  • Identify government and funding opportunities and coordinate Justice Connect’s internal decision making regarding potential funding applications
  • Support and coordinate opportunities for corporate partnerships and alumni
  • Coordinate fundraising materials
  • Create plans and processes to make new approaches to donors across income streams
  • Develop and maintain systems to track fundraising and development activities
  • Attend and manage donor meetings, pitches and presentations
  • Develop and maintain high-quality data
  • Manage budgets and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with governance, fundraising licensing and reporting requirements relevant to fundraising
Skills & Attributes
  • Fundraising background ideally with experience across a range of income streams including major donor and regular giving
  • Ability to review strategies and set new fundraising plans
  • Proven experience of building, managing and maintaining relationships
  • Experience setting up new income streams
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the confidence to engage with a wide range of stakeholders in a range of settings (fundraising asks, meetings, one-on-one, presentations)
  • Ability to create fundraising materials
  • Efficiency in administration and willingness to develop processes and database
  • Ability to work alone across a number of projects
  • A commitment to Justice Connect’s vision, strategy and values, including a commitment to social justice
