Job Description

Our client is looking for a confident Senior Administrator with experience in diary management and reception cover to provide administration support to the Director.
  • Immediate start temporary opportunity with the potential to go permanent
  • Central Sydney location
  • $35 per hour plus Super
  • Provide executive support to the Director
  • Reception cover and diary mangement
  • Manage all daily enquiries and correspondence including written and telephone correspondence 
  • Prepare preliminary drafts of documents, including letters and emails 
  • Organise meetings and distribute agendas and minutes 
  • Assist in developing and implementing seminar programs
  • Organise domestic and international travel, including managing and organising meetings, conferences, accommodation, and itineraries 
  • Collaborate with and provide administration assistance to internal teams
  • Perform finance related tasks such as assisting with monitoring the annual operating budget, processing payments, raising purchase orders and acquitting credit card expenses for the director
  • Liaise and communicate with the finance team to develop costings for routine or regular research processes
  • Assist with casual contracts, and ‘on boarding’ new staff
  • Assist with marketing and communications both internally and externally by booking venues, organising catering, drafting, or by supplying and circulating advertising materials for events
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in an administrative position
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work autonomously, think intuitively, show initiative and take ownership of ad-hoc projects
  • A flexible approach to work and an ability to work under pressure
  • Intermediate computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
