Job Description
- Build relationships with truly inspiring donors
- Strategic responsibility to build the program
- Great brand and inspiring cause
- Manage and develop the strategy of the planned giving program
- Deliver growth across planned giving
- Manage existing confirmed bequestors while continuing to grow a pipeline of new prospects
- Attend one to one visits with bequestors as well as planning larger events
- Map the bequest donor journey and develop appropriate communications for each touch point
- Help create planned giving collateral
- Manage a donor circle focused on bequest development
- Report on and keep Raisers Edge updated
- Manage reporting, budgets, targets and growth
- Knowledge of the planned giving fundraising market or the processes involved in how to leave a bequest OR commercial relationships management experience
- Initiative and the ability to work proactively in an autonomous role
- High levels of empathy and compassion
- Strong relationship development and stewardship skills
- Ability to explain the need for, and benefits of planned giving in a clear and compelling manner
- Event management experience
- Meticulous attention to detail
