Amnesty International Australia works both at home and internationally. They work across many areas including Indigenous communities, people seeking asylum, unfair detention, fighting a fare justice system, gender and sexuality and all other wider human rights issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, identify, cultivate and steward new prospects and existing donors
- Manage and build your own portfolio of mid to major supporters
- Effectively build and manage relationships with supporters who have different campaign or country interests
- Plan and execute a rolling program of strategic major donor events, meetings and other regular face to face engagement with donors and prospects
- Contribute to the wider philanthropy strategy
- Improve engagement with major supporters by managing the policies and processes around the donor journey
- Create plans to increase supporter commitment and relationship value
- Maintain a comprehensive database
- Proven experience working with major supporters; developing portfolios of both new and existing donors
- Exceptional donor relationship management skills
- Proven ability to hit fundraising targets
- An understanding of the fundraising landscape
- Experience in managing and improving supporter journeys
- Exceptional communication skills
- A passion for working within human rights/international
- Potential to develop the strategy
