About the organisation
Amnesty International Australia works both at home and internationally. They work across many areas including Indigenous communities, people seeking asylum, unfair detention, fighting a fare justice system, gender and sexuality and all other wider human rights issues.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Research, identify, cultivate and steward new prospects and existing donors
  • Manage and build your own portfolio of mid to major supporters
  • Effectively build and manage relationships with supporters who have different campaign or country interests
  • Plan and execute a rolling program of strategic major donor events, meetings and other regular face to face engagement with donors and prospects
  • Contribute to the wider philanthropy strategy  
  • Improve engagement with major supporters by managing the policies and processes around the donor journey
  • Create plans to increase supporter commitment and relationship value
  • Maintain a comprehensive database
Skills & Attributes
  • Proven experience working with major supporters; developing portfolios of both new and existing donors
  • Exceptional donor relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to hit fundraising targets
  • An understanding of the fundraising landscape
  • Experience in managing and improving supporter journeys
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A passion for working within human rights/international
