Job Description

Our client, based in Port Melbourne, is a well-establish tech company that is customer centric.  They are looking for a pragmatic, passionate high energy and credible individual who can add value to their leadership team by being hands-on and innovative with your approach with line managers.  Additionally, you will be able to participate in share team projects which include well-being strategy and sustainability.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a People and Culture Business Partner to join a great team with an amazing culture.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the HR strategy and business plan
  • Coach, guide and develop teams in relation to people-related practices and procedures
  • Manage the implementation of HR programs
  • Development of capability frameworks, remuneration and benefit programs
  • Active staff engagement working across all levels
  • Be pragmatic, passionate and a high-energy individual who is representative of the company values and serves as a mentor to other staff members 
  • Ensuring compliance to procedures and applicable employment law
Skills and Experience include:
  • Generalist HR knowledge and experience across multiple disciplines, with an emphasis on organisational development
  • Knowledge of best practice, but an ability to "make the role your own"
  • Common sense approach to Human Resources
  • Solid systems skills, including Microsoft office and HRIS
  • Ability to translate business requirements to practical HR initiatives
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship skills, ability to engage at all levels and build trust and credibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver to a high standard
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Outstanding attention to detail
