Role Summary
The Communication Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining all communications channels – website, social media platforms and other electronic communications. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop content for communications to stakeholders
  • Manage and update website and social media platforms including web design
  • Take advantage of new forms of communicating to stakeholders
  • Maintain communications timelines
  • Provide support with regard to marketing, development and communications and undertake projects
  • Assist the events manager also in some tasks
Skills & Attributes
  • Tertiary qualifications (e.g. communications, marketing) and/or relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to communicate with different audiences
  • A thorough understanding of social media and digital communication
  • Highly developed skills in writing copy for both traditional media and social media platforms
  • Computer skills, MS Office and EventsAIR (Events Software) desirable
  • Interest in mental health and/or not-for-profit sector
