Social Community Coordinator, Carer Community Forum is a new role for a newly created and launched program. This position will participate in the establishment and day-to-day operation of an online peer support community. They will ensure the provision of a safe, anonymous space for people to seek connection, information and advice from each other.
Initially, the focus will be on building the community, promoting it, reaching out to stakeholders and working with other organisations to stimulate engagement in the group.
The successful Social Community Coordinator will help establish and implement policies and safeguards to provide a safe, supportive, anonymous and simple-to-use online community. You will be responsible for monitoring forums, creating topics of interest and discussion, providing regular data collection and reporting.
To drive the success of the community, you will be involved in gathering feedback from test users to help us hone the system, our guidelines and processes.
We are looking for a Moderator with sound online experience and an interest in using Online Communities. A background moderating a Facebook community or other like communities would be ideal and training will be provided.
Based in Sydney, Flexibility of role is welcome for the suitable and successful candidate. The Forum operates seven days a week and flexibility in working different shifts including evenings and weekends is a requirement of this role.
