Vision Australia are looking for a New Business Major Gifts Fundraiser to grow and develop a portfolio of new donors. You will be a brilliant new business relationship manager and will manage your pipeline, steward donors and make asks. You may be a fundraiser who has experience in developing new relationships or come from a commercial sales background.

Role Summary
The Major Gifts Fundraiser will grow and develop a pipeline of new donors. You will manage the donor development process and build long term long lasting relationships.
  
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a pipeline of new donors
  • Build new relationships from a prospect list 
  • Create detailed donor profiles and utilise tools available for donor research
  • Manage donors through the management pipeline culminating in making asks
  • Prepare donor strategies and proposals
  • Grow and develop long term and long-lasting relationships with donors, increasing their level of giving
  • Develop a strategic approach to the growth and development of the Philanthropy portfolio
Skills & Attributes
  • Proven ability to grow and manage effective long-lasting relationships with donors
  • New business sales experience within a fundraising or commercial setting
  • A background in exceeding financial targets through either fundraising or commercial sales
  • Proven track record in generating income
  • Experience in business development via the telephone and face to face
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Team player committed to working in a friendly and supportive environment
