Job Description

Are you an Accounts Clerk with Legal Trust Accounts experience or Real Estate Trust Accounts Experience?  We have a role for you! 

Working in Central Newcastle, this global legal business is looking for an Accounts clerk to join their team to help with their Legal Trust Accounts.  Working closely with the Brisbane team, you will ensure that all trust account funds are prepared correctly and assisting in supporting the broader team.

Your key duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Maintaining the daily processing of transactions 
  • Processing creditor disbursements and EFT payments
  • Assisting with data entry of invoices
  • Assisting with bank runs and cheque runs
  • Assisting with staff expense claim preparation
  • Administration support
To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:
  • Experience in a similar position within either the Legal or Rest Estate industry
  • A high level of initiative, organisation and time management skills
  • Professional communication, both written and verbal
  • Sound knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Have an energetic and enthusiastic personality
  • Corporate, professional presentation
