Job Description

Do you have experience within the Legal industry?

We are looking for a switched on Legal Secretary or strong Secretary with PA or Legal experience for a large government agency based in the CBD. Working alongside a team of Legal Secretaries and supporting a busy group of Solicitors, this person will need to be available immediately and want to be a part of a supportive and collaborative environment for the long term.  
 

General duties include:
  • Diary and email management
  • Meetings and event coordination
  • Systems administration 
  • Assisting with projects across the business when required
  • Raising Invoices and purchase orders
  • Managing expenses
  • Typing and dictation
  • Formatting large documentation
  • Assisting with proposals and presentations
  • Creating minutes and agendas
As a successful candidate, you will have:
  • Previous experience in a Legal Secretarial role is preferred
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • The ability to work autonomously, think strategically, show initiative and take ownership of adhoc projects
  • A flexible approach to work and an ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to pick up systems quickly
