Job Description
This position will be part of a larger project team and will see you managing contract matters in support of project objectives.
You will serve as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and be responsible for interpreting all contractual documents with third parties and joint venture parties whilst keeping up-to-date on all contract, commercial, and legal developments in those areas.
You will prepare all contract documents (including contractual amendments, notices and formal correspondence) and ensure they are prepared professionally, are accurate and complete, and fully comply with organisational policies, procedures and applicable legal requirements.
You will participate in the evaluation and selection of industries and education partners/providers and manage the subcontractor engagement process, ensuring that adequate controls and risk management procedures are adopted and that commercial objectives are achieved.
To be successful for this role you will possess the following:
- A Law degree
- 8+ years post admission experience
- Legal contracting experience at a large organisation with a comparable scale of business and complexity or a law firm.
- Demonstrated strong commercial experience in a project or contract-based environment.
