Job Description

  • Course Coordinator needed for a leading Education provider to help assist with course content for their Financial Planning courses 
  • Based in the CBD close to public transport links
  • Paying $75,000 - $80,000 plus super
  • The chance to study any of their courses online for free

The Course Coordinator is responsible for leading and contributing to the development, delivery, review and evaluation or learning and assessment material for their financial planning courses. This person may come from a Learning and Development background who is confident in course and content creation. This person will also be responsible for ensuring the quality of students' learning experience.

General duties
  • Work with subject matter experts to contribute to the design and development of the course material
  • Contribute to the smooth running of courses ensuring that the student has a positive experience, and ensuring all materials are in line with relevant schedules
  • Ensure all collateral for the delivery of courses has been created in the most appropriate formats, whilst ensuring that the courses meet all standards and RTO obligations
  • Provide support to student services and student advisers and address all concerns, and further contribute to the resolution of any student complaints and grievances
  • Investigate any allegations of academic misconduct and contribute to the effective resolution of student non-academic misconduct.
  • Provide support in creating new materials, whilst establishing new and innovative ways to recreate existing courses

The successful candidate will have:
  • Prior experience working in learning and development ideally within an  RTO or higher education background
  • Experience creating content for learning, training or development purposes
  • Experience developing learning resources and be adaptable to working with CRMs suited to course creation 
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with all stakeholders
  • Experience of working within the financial planning industry (desirable)
  • It would be desirable if the candidate help a TAE40110 Cert IV in Training and Assessment
