Job Description

Human Resources Advisor
  • Excellent opportunity to lead the HR function of a busy education provider
  • Paying $80,000 - $90,000 + Super
  • Based in Strathfield - close to the station
About the role
This Human Resources Advisor will lead the HR function for the business. This is a newly created position which will ensure that staff and students are supported by the HR function. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 
  • You will be managing the internal recruitment and selection process 
  • First point of contact for all HR enquiries
  • Coordinate and manage employment contracts, HR documentation and background checks
  • Provide support to the senior staff with HR initiatives and programmes
  • Establish and refine HR polices and processes across the organisation
  • Manage all accident/incident reports and organise all training accordingly
  • Organise and manage first aid training for all staff
  • Run the WHS induction for all staff members
  • Provide enterprise bargaining agreement support

To be successful you will have:
  • Prior experience working within Human Resources 
  • A human resources degree or a related discipline
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality related to employee sensitive information
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal
