Job Description

A well loved charity in the Inner-West is looking for an Events Assistant to support their fundraising team for a 6 week contract starting immediately (With potential of extension).  You will be supporting a major and very well known event in the Australian Charity calendar.

You will be responsible for:
  • Administrative support for event committee meetings, preparing meeting agendas, attending meetings and minute recording
  • Research and source adhoc event supplies
  • Manage multiple event RSVP's
  • Collate and update multiple data spreadsheets accurately and regularly using Excel
  • Provide administrative event logistics support
  • Refining, formatting and compiling event patron and supplier proposals
  • Follow up outstanding payments for event tickets, patronage and prizes
To apply for the role you will need to:
  • Have solid Events experience (ideally in a fundraising environment) and able to pick things up quickly and hit the ground running
  • Have experience of supporting an event from start to finish
  • Be super organised, with a sense of urgency 
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be able to relate to people at all levels and from all backgrounds
  • Be committed and professional
  • Excellent with computers and database management and online research tools
