Job Description

Supporting the Finance Manager, the Finance Officer is responsible for
the management of accounts payable, payroll processing and providing
support to accounts tasks

Key Responsibilities - 
  • Accounts payable and payroll
  • Management of accounts payable including distribution, data entering and preparing payment of supplier invoices on a weekly basis.
  • Management of payroll information including new staff set up and updating existing staff information as necessary
  • Processing and preparation of the weekly F2F payroll
  • Processing and preparation of the fortnightly Office payroll
  • Processing, reconciliation and preparation of monthly superannuation payments, monthly IAS (PAYG), and quarterly BAS (GST return)
  • Collate, coordinate and reconciliation of petty cash and monthly company credit cards
  • Ensuring up-to-date filing of records (payroll, suppliers, bank documents)
  • Undertake ad-hoc administrative support and other tasks as requested.
Skills & Attributes -
  • Strong payroll and accounts payable 1-2 years’ experience
  • Strong MYOB experience
  • Ability to prioritise deadlines.
  • Good computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and outlook
  • Speedy, accurate and efficient data entry skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Manage a variety of tasks to meet competing deadlines.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to liaise with and engage stakeholders and third party suppliers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of maintaining current, organised systems and files.
Part time preferably Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ongoing.
