Job Description

THE COMPANY & THE ROLE
This respected, education organisation, based in the CBD, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant. Initially for a period of 12 months, with the potential to extend or go perm, the successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Executive. They will proactively manage the day to day activities of the Executive, the wider department (including two direct reports) and also contribute to the overall culture of the department with a can-do and professional attitude. 
  
DUTIES
  • Complex diary management
  • Office management duties, including managing 2 direct reports
  • Assist with projects and events 
  • Managing and coordinating meetings
  • Booking travel and accommodation
  • Prepare correspondence
  • Assisting with proposals and presentations
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required
  
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience in providing EA support to senior management
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing staff
  • The ability to work autonomously, think intuitively, show initiative and take ownership of ad-hoc projects
  • A flexible approach to work and an ability to work under pressure
  • Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
