Job Description

An innovative Australian non-profit homelessness organisation is looking for an Event Manager to help organise a range of upcoming events. The contract is a 3-6 month contract, starting immediately.  Working holiday visas, along with Australian citizens/permanent residents are encouraged to apply.

In this role you will:
 
• Coordinate and manage current event portfolio including arranging a major annual event
• Actively build, develop and  maintain key relationships with supporters, suppliers, partners and other stakeholders to ensure strong engagement and retention
• Develop opportunities to proactively promote and build reputation of charity
• Deal with marketing and communications that focus on the event

To apply for the role you will need to:

• Have solid Events Management and Communications experience and able to pick things up quickly and hit the ground running
• Have experience of managing an event from start to finish
• Be super organised, with a sense of urgency 
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to relate to people at all levels and from all backgrounds
• Be committed and professional
