Engagement Executive - Ambassadors and Volunteers

Newly created Engagement Executive role for a national charity. This exciting role reports in to the GM of Marketing and is responsible for leading and executing key engagement activities across the organisation which includes the National Ambassador and Influencer Program, the Volunteer Program and the Events Program.
  
You will work closely with the Marketing and Fundraising Teams to embed the engagement strategy and develop processes and procedures across the programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the newly created engagement strategy across the National Ambassador and Influencer Program, the Volunteer Program and the Events Program
  • Develop processes and procedures for internal stakeholders to leverage the programs
  • Develop the recruitment framework for volunteering
  • Implement strategies to retain Ambassadors and Volunteers
  • Manage relationships across all programs
  • Develop multi-channel communication techniques to ensure Ambassadors, Influencers and Volunteers are engaged
  • Develop and implement a recognition process to thank and acknowledge Ambassadors and Volunteers at key millstones  
  • Develop and implement a strategy to manage lapsed Volunteers and Speakers
  • Develop a project plan (in relation to the engagement strategy) for the successful delivery of events
  • Develop and implement post event evaluation reports after all events
  • Provide regular reporting on engagement program performance
  • Work with the wider marketing team to develop content for “call outs” to volunteers across platforms such as email and social media
  • Keep data updated on the CRM
Skills & Attributes
  • Event management experience
  • Committee Management experience preferred
  • Ability to develop strong relationships
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Database experience; ability to maintain comprehensive records, competency in producing consistent regular recording and reporting of activities including budget accountability
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Able to multi task and work across projects
  • Excellent administrative and numerical skills
  • Strong computer literacy with database systems and MS Office applications
  • Ideally some understanding of the role of influencers/ambassadors/volunteers within a charity
