Job Description
The Curriculum Technical Adviser is responsible for contributing to the quality development, technical development and delivery of course material and qualifications within financial services.
Technical Responsibilities;
- Review and update course material to ensure technical accuracy and currency of content.
- Develop, deliver and review courseware in collaboration with Course Coordinators to constructively contribute to a student’s positive learning experience.
- Contribute to ensuring course material is written in an appropriate consistent voice and style, and structured appropriately for online delivery, to aid student understanding.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to create online learning materials.
- Work with external subject matter experts to ensure quality output/s.
- Review content work of external subject matter experts to ensure quality output/s.
- Provide technical support to other business units as required to support student’s progression through a subject and/or a course and provide technical support directly to students as required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct work in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
- Participate in scholarly activity that may include lectures, workshops, conferences, technical or research papers/ articles.
- Demonstrate maintenance of own disciplinary knowledge through relevant research, conference attendance, publication.
- Experience in developing learning resources to enhance student experience
- A professional interest in data-driven higher education program development.
- Excellent writing & communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines & project management skills
- Extensive knowledge of the finance industry
- Demonstrated maintenance of disciplinary knowledge and continuing professional development
- Postgraduate qualification in a finance-related discipline
- Experience working in an RTO or HEP or other learning and development environment
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Delivery and development of online courses
- Experience working in an education environment
- Related discipline industry designation(s) e.g. CFA, CFP, CPA, CA.
- Programme coordinator and lecturing experience within the Finance Field
