Job Description
They are in the midst of organising a few major events, and need someone who can pitch in and help, largely with administrative tasks, but also need someone who can event-manage, trouble shoot, and be accountable for their own outputs.
You will be responsible for:
- Administrative support for event committee meetings, preparing meeting agendas, attending meetings and minute recording
- Research and source adhoc event supplies
- Manage multiple event RSVP's
- Provide administrative event logistics support
- Refining, formatting and compiling event patron and supplier proposals
- Follow up outstanding payments for event tickets, patronage and prizes
- Proactive
- Independent worker
- Willingness to be involved in and work across multiple projects and project teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Community fundraising or events background desirable
- To be immediately available
