Job Description

A much loved charity in the Eastern suburbs is looking for a temporary Community Coordinator or Events Administrator to support them during a busy time. The role is to start immediately for 3-6 months, potentially longer.

They are in the midst of organising a few major events, and need someone who can pitch in and help, largely with administrative tasks, but also need someone who can event-manage, trouble shoot, and be accountable for their own outputs.
 
You will be responsible for:
  • Administrative support for event committee meetings, preparing meeting agendas, attending meetings and minute recording
  • Research and source adhoc event supplies
  • Manage multiple event RSVP's
  • Provide administrative event logistics support
  • Refining, formatting and compiling event patron and supplier proposals
  • Follow up outstanding payments for event tickets, patronage and prizes
Key skills:
  • Proactive
  • Independent worker
  • Willingness to be involved in and work across multiple projects and project teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Community fundraising or events background desirable
  • To be immediately available
