This respected, education organisation is seeking an experienced Student Services Manager with a strong background in academia. With a focus on enriching student’s lives and creating bright futures, this organisation provides a safe and supportive environment that promotes a balanced lifestyle, well-being and academic success through integrated academic, pastoral and social support networks.
  
THE ROLE

Working closely with the senior management, this role will be responsible for all matters relating to the academic success of the students. You will work to ensure that all students reach their full academic potential including; reviewing and reporting on student results each semester with a view to then organise and conduct academic assistance sessions with students as needed. You will also organise and run various academic events with a variety of guest speakers, including; breakfast and dinner events, subject specific tutorials and a series of general academic tutorials. You will support the senior management with ad-hoc duties relating to the academic excellence of students, including writing relevant articles for the organisations publications, and may also assist with student application interviews. This position is a newly created role within the organisation and therefore the successful candidate will have the opportunity to really make the role their own. 
  
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Incredibly organised with an excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport easily
  • Motivated with a positive attitude
  • Experience organising events and/or tutorials would be a benefit
  • Due to the nature of this role, it would be a distinct advantage if you have a strong background in academia
