The Senior Administrator provides high level support to a Member of the Executive team. They are responsible for providing administrative and general support in all aspects of Learning and Teaching.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- 30% of the position will be providing PA support to the Executive including organising meetings, agendas, minutes, communications with staff, diary management, liaison with EA’s, support and collation of documentation
- Provide high level administrative and data entry support to the Executive regarding teacher progress and maintenance of professional accreditation
- Provide teachers with timely reminders for their accreditation's, whilst uploading and maintaining accurate records on all documentation
- Develop and maintaining systems for ongoing file management whilst assisting with the preparation of the Schools accreditation's outside of the school
- Assist with the regular planning of training, including space booking, catering, documentation planning, presentations and course documents
- Complete adhoc administrative and data intensive tasks as necessary
- Provide assistance to other administrators during peak reporting periods
The ideal candidate is someone who is experienced within administration, is process driven and a strategic thinker. This candidate will be knowledgeable in systems and is capable of working in a high pace environment.
Skills and attributes:
- Highly developed technology skills: Microsoft 365, Sharepoint, Google Forms, Enterprise 1 and document sharing, must also be confident on both a PC and MAC
- Must have proven administration skills alongside organisational/event coordination skills
- Extensive experience in general office procedures, with a high attention to detail, accuracy and literacy skills
- Experience providing support to a manager including minute taking, report writing, letter writing and diary management
- A well-developed capacity to manage the complexity and diversity of the role, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ideally this candidate would be proficient proof reading, with an advanced ability in literacy and grammar
- Demonstrated ability to exercise a high degree of confidentiality and privacy and the ability to manage expectations of others within the business
- Proven ability to “manage up” including checking in with work, showing initiative, ability to question and gather all information to perform tasks
