ABOUT THE ROLE

The function of the Registrar is to manage the academic administration across the organisation. The Registrar will ensure that the academic administration is in line with internal policies and procedures, external accreditation and registration requirements. This role will work closely with senior leadership team and will report directly into the CEO.


General duties include;
  • Lead and manage the academic support team 
  • Work closely with the student services manager to ensure the student management system is running as smoothly and efficiently as possible
  • Oversee the timetabling and delivery of examinations 
  • Manage and process academic administration applications - complaints and appeals, special consideration applications, alleged student misconduct, deferrals and course change requests 
  • Ensure that all academic administration is compliant and adhering to policies and procedures
  • Oversee graduation compliance and all records
  • Manage collection and reporting on academic outcomes
  • Oversee and audit internal and external communications  - orientation, industry procedures, website, marketing materials, LMS, SMS formal student communications 
  • Ensure that systems and processes are adhered to
  • Work closely with the Dean to record and develop reports for TEQSA
  • Assist the dean with the preparation of governance documents 
ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelors degree or relevant experience in a similar role 
  • Prior experience overseeing higher education management systems HEIMS, PRISMS, HITS etc 
  • Knowledge of higher education regulatory environment TEQSA, CRICOS, and ESOS
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing small teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft
  • Demonstrated experience using and maintaining an LMS
