Job Description

Procurement Administrator
  • Based in North Sydney
  • Immediate start, 3-days per week
  • 6-week temporary contract

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Procurement Administrator is responsible for providing a high level of administrative support for procurement activities including the preparation of tender and contract documentation.

Main duties and responsibilities;
  • Liaise with staff engaged in sourcing procurement activities to clarifying documentations, including; equipment, materials and services
  • Prepare accurate contract and tender documentation
  • Utilize relevant procurement systems in relation to tenders, sourcing projects, document management, purchasing and related task in accordance to practices
  • Coordinate the administration of specific sourcing projects as directed and under appropriate supervision
  • Provide advice to staff on process for sourcing projects, coordinate administrative tasks and use appropriate systems to support these activities
  • Maintain a high level of data and ensure all activities comply with the procurement policies and processes

ABOUT YOU
  • Demonstrated ability with contract and tender writing, supported with an appropriate qualification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word at a high level
  • Great time management, experience working to deadlines and working with conflicting priorities
  • High level attention to detail and ability to quality control work to check for accuracy
  • Immediately available for 3 days a week
