Beaumont People are working with a local Community Care Provider with a great reputation to recruit a NDIS Case Manager. Ongoing temporary opportunity with the potential to go perm for the right candidate. In a newly created role due to growth the NDIS Case Manager will support and train the Disability Care team to ensure their clients receive the care they require. If you have knowledge of the NDIS framework and can report to the commission on a regular basis about the care your team is providing, then this could be the role for you.
As part of the role you will be required to establish and develop good relationships with the care team and their clients. You will be required to complete some hands-on support with your clients so you know exactly what support your small team needs to provide. A background in Community Support or Social Work will really help the ideal candidate manage both their team and their client’s needs.
Experience you will need to have:
- Cert III/IV Disability Support or Social Work
- Experience implementing Positive Behavioural Support Plans (desirable)
- Experience managing a small team
- Understanding of the NDIS Framework
- Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
- Eager to learn and grow
- Available for minimum 25 hours a week
- Be able to work to deadlines
