Job Description
We are looking for a switched on Legal Secretary or strong Secretary with PA or Legal experience within Employment Law for a large government agency based in the CBD. Working alongside a team of Legal Secretaries and supporting a busy group of Solicitors, this person will ideally be available immediately and want to be a part of a supportive and collaborative environment for the long term.
General duties include:
- Diary and email management
- Meetings and event coordination
- Systems administration
- Assisting with projects across the business when required
- Raising Invoices and purchase orders
- Managing expenses
- Typing and dictation
- Formatting large documentation
- Assisting with proposals and presentations
- Creating minutes and agendas
- Previous experience in a Legal Secretarial role is essential
- Experience within the legal industry, Litigation is preferred
- Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- The ability to work autonomously, think strategically, show initiative and take ownership of adhoc projects
- A flexible approach to work and an ability to work under pressure
- Ability to pick up systems quickly
