Beaumont People are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join a prestigious company based in North Sydney
6-Month Maternity Contract
Salary: $100-110K +Super
Start Date: end of January 2020
  
Core Purpose:
Our client is seeking a passionate HR professional to lead their HR team for a 6-month Maternity Cover. This is a hands-on generalist role with responsibility across the whole HR remit as well as managing the office function. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies. A proactive attitude is key to success in this role which will see you strive for HR best practice. 
  
Responsibilities                                                                 
  • Delivering operational and transformational HR strategies and initiatives
  • Providing HR advice to Management on all areas including in/formal performance management procedures and employee relations
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and processes
  • Maintain and ensure compliance to HR regulations and procedures
  • End to end recruitment and retention of top performing staff
  • Empower, support and inspire the HR team
  • Review, update and manage the implementation of the companies guiding principles
  • Oversee the day to day management of the HR and Reception function
  • Working with the payroll team to ensure the smooth running of the monthly payroll
  • Committed to continuous professional development, keeping update to date with employment law changes and implementing necessary updates
  • Management of the learning and development function
  • Compliance and administration of all WHS
  • Maintaining and tracking HR budgets
  • Oversee management of multiple offices
  • Responsible for yearly WGEA reporting        
  
Required competencies and experience
  • Successful track record of delivering HR Strategies and Culture Initiatives
  • The passion to lead and inspire a HR team
  • Up to date knowledge of HR Legislation
  • The ability to build strong internal relationships
  • Relevant HR tertiary qualification
  • Must be available to start before the end of January 2020
